Over 30 churches and monasteries, along with about 900 Serbian houses, were destroyed, leading to the deaths of ten Serbs and the displacement of around 4,000 people in just two days. This violence, which spared few locations, aimed to eradicate all Serbian presence, leaving remaining Serbs in a state of fear and continued emigration.
