Counterfeit shoes and glasses worth about nine million dinars seized

Counterfeit shoes and glasses worth about nine million dinars seized Police in Serbia have filed criminal charges against one Serbian and two Bulgarian citizens for illegal trade and unauthorized use of business names. The suspects were found with counterfeit shoes and glasses worth approximately nine million dinars without proper documentation of origin. This action is part of an ongoing effort to combat the grey economy.

• Police filed criminal charges against A.S. (55) from Loznica and two Bulgarian citizens (S.M.A., 54, and C.R.S., 61).
• The suspects are accused of illegal trade and unauthorized use of business names.
• Authorities seized 560 pairs of counterfeit shoes and 8,406 pairs of glasses with 428 cases.
• The value of the seized counterfeit goods is approximately nine million dinars.
• The goods lacked documentation regarding their origin.
• The operation was conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, criminal investigation services, and police administrations in Pančevo and Šabac, in cooperation with public prosecutor’s offices.
