Court Confirms Discrimination Based on Union Membership

The Higher Court in Belgrade accepted the lawsuit of a member of the Independent Union of Education Workers of Serbia (NSPRS) employed at the "Nada Dimić" School of Economics, thereby confirming that she was discriminated against based on her union affiliation when paying the jubilee award for 35 years of service. The ruling ordered the school to pay this employee the full amount of the jubilee award, default interest, and court costs, the NSPRS announced.
