Baptism is how you tell the world you belong to Jesus.
The blue represents water — specifically, the water of baptism. When you follow Jesus, baptism is your first public step of obedience.
It’s an outward declaration of an inward change. It’s you saying to the world: “I have died to my old life and been raised to new life in Jesus.”
It’s going public with your faith.
“Peter replied, ‘Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off.’”
