A Florida woman has been arrested for allegedly scamming over 200 people out of more than $40,000 by falsely claiming she had cancer. Maribeth Ellen Jones, 51, used the donations to pay off personal debts, even going so far as to cut her hair to appear as though she was undergoing chemotherapy. GoFundMe has since removed the fundraisers, banned her account, and refunded all donations.
