White House border czar Tom Homan and a DHS spokesperson have strongly denied Senator Chris Murphy’s allegations that ICE is targeting parents at school bus stops to ‘terrorize little kids.’ Homan stated that ICE enforces laws and does not aim to terrorize children, while DHS called Murphy’s claims a “work of fiction” intended to score political points and noted increased threats against ICE officers. DHS confirmed an arrest in Danbury of an individual who had previously been released by Border Patrol and was found with a weapon during a targeted vehicle stop.
