EXCLUSIVE: 25 years after 9/11, ICE says more than 2K known or suspected terrorists have been deported

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has deported more than 2,000 known or suspected terrorists since President Trump took office in January 2025. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) stated that ICE arrested over 2,150 individuals in this category between January 20, 2025, and September 9, 2026. This announcement coincides with the nation preparing to mark 25 years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
