First use of Alien Terrorist Removal Court sends Afghan woman back after Election Day ISIS plot: DOJ

Nazira Haji Zada, an Afghan woman, has been deported to Afghanistan after admitting to being an “alien terrorist” in the U.S. Alien Terrorist Removal Court (ATRC). This is the first successful use of the ATRC, established 30 years ago. Her son and son-in-law were previously convicted for their involvement in an alleged ISIS-inspired mass shooting plot. Zada, a former permanent resident, is now barred from re-entering the U.S.
