Rickey Jackson wins first Bassmaster Randy Moss Pro Football Hall of Fame Pro-Am on St. Lawrence River

The first-ever Bassmaster Randy Moss Pro Football Hall of Fame Pro-Am took place on the St. Lawrence River, pairing eight Hall of Famers with eight Bassmaster Elite pros. Super Bowl champion Rickey Jackson, paired with John Garrett, won the event with 21 pounds, 10 ounces, narrowly defeating Joe Thomas and Jay Przekurat. The tournament, organized by Randy Moss, aimed to introduce his fellow Hall of Famers to the sport of fishing.
