The Yabloko party, following its recent congress, has nominated candidates for the State Duma and regional parliaments. The party put forward 275 candidates on the federal list and 137 for single-mandate constituencies. The federal list for the State Duma includes party chairpersons from Moscow, Chelyabinsk, and Omsk branches, a deputy from St. Petersburg, an assistant to a deputy from the Pskov region, a political scientist from Moscow, and the defender of Lev Shlosberg in court. Additionally, Yabloko nominated candidates for regional parliaments in Sverdlovsk, Karelia, Kaliningrad, and Leningrad regions. The party also noted that over 40 of its members were disqualified from elections on political grounds, with its chairman and regional deputies facing charges for displaying extremist symbols. Several deputy chairpersons have been designated as "foreign agents," and one has been sentenced to seven years for spreading "fakes." Recently, Yabloko presented its program, emphasizing a ceasefire, avoiding nuclear escalation, diplomacy, freedom of information, and an end to repressions.
