Graduates are also guaranteed "employment" – a one-year contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense for service in drone troops. The course announcement appeared on the university website in April. The training lasts ten days, followed by two months of practical experience, as stated on the course website. It is open to men aged 18-60 and women aged 18-35 with "at least a secondary vocational education." The course offers three specializations: "UAV Operator," "FPV Drone Technician," and "FPV Drone Operator." There is no tuition fee; "all expenses are covered by the state," the website notes. Assistance with travel to Tomsk, "comfortable accommodation," and three meals a day are offered to those wishing to attend from other cities and regions.
