As part of Operation Lone Star, Texas DPS and federal authorities seized over 153 pounds of narcotics during a commercial vehicle inspection at the Laredo Port of Entry. The seizure included 94 pounds of fentanyl, estimated to be over 19.8 million lethal doses. Two individuals, Ernesto Jaime and Enrique Ramirez Valle, were arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
