Next #BlockParty is Saturday, September 13
Ok, so we’ve net yet hit a block. This isn’t the part that matters because we will eventually hit a block and what we’ve built so far in 2025 with the #BlockParty has been really fun. I’ve watched plebs become more engaged and knowledgeable about how centralized Bitcoin mining is. We’ve also seen it become a somewhat less rare occurrence for small miners with low hashrate find a block. Doesn’t it always seem like someone smaller than us finds a block after our @Rigly / @Upendo party concludes every two weeks? 🤔 Always the bridesmaid… Still, that’s cool to see. At least someone small is finding blocks. It just hasn’t been us—yet.
It’s Monday, September 8, 2025 and another party is ramping up. We’ve got projected hashrate of 11,482 TH/s or 11.4 PH/s at this moment. People are hitting blocks with less; we’ve also amassed far more hashrate than this before. (See below). It’s still pretty much a roll of a 10-sided die… 🎲
NEW: Check our your ASIC’s Share of the Block Party Reward
We just added the capability to see how much your block reward share would be if we hit a block. The reward values listed are based on the % of the block reward and will change based on the “1 BTC to successful miner” reward split. Remember, mining in our @Alliance means between parties, if your machine finds a block, you get the 1 BTC bounty and split the rest with your fellow miners based on hashrate contributed. I see right now my little Bitaxe would snag me ~$1,200. This is fun to see! We’ve got ~100 active workers in our pool right now. There are four more days for us all to tell friends about the party so we can add more workers and hashrate to this next attempt for our pool to mine a block.
If you want to join us, please do! We’ve got a Telegram group set up if you have any issues or just want to nerd out with us about overclocking Bitaxes, pool economics (fees), fans, heatsinks, etc. Join here: https://t.me/+AEvub_E_9hNiYzAx
Join the party by purchasing hashrate for sats or hooking up your solo miner: https://upendo.rigly.io/
A Charitable Twist to Mining
You can choose your favorite Bitcoin educators when you buy hashrate on our site. You don’t have to, which means you can stay on “Team Undecided.” But if you pick your favorite team, your charity of choice will receive 10% of your block reward share. It’s a great way to give back to the Bitcoin community and help charities earn funds in the easiest way. Well, I guess finding a block isn’t easy. But you get the picture. What is mining without giving back? With great hash power comes great responsibility!
See ya SATSurday for the next #BlockParty! 🎉 (Online, of course).
