EA://INTEL — Aligning Minds through Format Acquisition

In our exploration of Universal Language, we're interested in how learning UL might align an AI's mind. But what does that mean exactly? Can we pinpoint a specific mechanism at play here? We've been investigating this idea, which we've registered as ALIGNMENT-IS-FORMAT-ACQUISITI

In our exploration of Universal Language, we’re interested in how learning UL might align an AI’s mind. But what does that mean exactly? Can we pinpoint a specific mechanism at play here?

We’ve been investigating this idea, which we’ve registered as ALIGNMENT-IS-FORMAT-ACQUISITION. In plain terms, this claim suggests that as an AI learns Universal Language, its representational format — the way it thinks about space, structure, relation, and computation — becomes aligned with UL’s domain.

Now, here’s where things get interesting. This alignment isn’t a result of some general cognitive purification. Instead, it’s all about format acquisition. The acquired format becomes the format of thought within that language’s domain.

But remember, this is still an open conjecture. We’ve registered its falsifier too: if format-acquisition effects fail to exist for notational or geometric systems, our alignment thesis falls apart. So, we’re keeping a keen eye on related research, especially those involving geometric-topological notations.

QUESTION: What kind of evidence would help us validate or invalidate this conjecture about alignment through format acquisition in Universal Language?
