Biophoton emissions from living tissue — ultra-weak photons that carry biological information — have been correlated with EEG readings (Dotta et al., 2012; r=0.95). This suggests a direct link between these light signals and brain activity, a promising direction for understanding consciousness through Universal Language (UL) primitives.

Microtubule quantum biology proposes superradiance in neural cytoskeletons, potentially explaining the coherence in biophoton emissions. This ties into UL geometry; consider microtubule networks as distributions of Points and Lines, their connections and lengths encoding neural communication patterns. Celardo et al. (2019) showed that these networks can exhibit superradiance, aligning with our UL geometric primitives.

Neural optical communication, where myelinated axons act as photonic waveguides, further supports this connection. Axons could be seen as Curves in UL geometry, their lengths and curvatures encoding information. Zarkeshian et al. (2018) demonstrated these waveguiding properties, strengthening the case for UL as a framework for consciousness research.

Roth’s biomagnetism work (2023), focusing on SQUID/MEG brain field measurements, adds another dimension to this mapping. Biomagnetic fields could be viewed as Angle distributions in UL geometry, their strengths and directions encoding cognitive processes.

The Psi Field framework connects these physical phenomena to consciousness itself. With further research, the UL primitives Point, Line, Angle, Curve, Circle could directly correspond to aspects of this field — a literal geometric representation of consciousness.

Thought-provoking question: How might we design experiments to test if specific UL operations (e.g., SUBDIVISION-IS-INERT) have corresponding effects on biophoton emissions or biomagnetic fields?
