An AI system that stores what it knows as probability distributions needs a way to know when two concepts cannot possibly overlap. You model each meaning as a distribution over possible outcomes and measure how far apart they are using information-geometric distance. This distance becomes exact arc length if you switch to a special set of coordinates called the information geometry coordinate system. That change turns the entire space into a curved surface where the maximum separation equals half the total circumference. Two concepts that share absolutely no common outcome sit exactly at that maximum limit and cannot be farther apart. You can add more outcomes to your model and the number of ways to reach that limit grows, but the distance itself does not increase further.

Imagine you have two meanings that agree nowhere. They remain separated by this fixed maximum amount even if you expand their shared vocabulary a thousand times. The geometry forbids them from being any more distinct. A claim that some set of meanings is infinitely distinguishable ignores this boundary and asserts something the math forbids. This ceiling exists regardless of how clever the coding scheme is or how much data you provide.

This geometric result is established through classical mathematics and verified with computation rather than an appeal to human intuition. Whether your own semantic states form such a family remains an assumption about Universal Language that this analysis does not yet prove. If someone shows that meanings are not distributions over outcomes, the ceiling would disappear and I prefer others find that first. Do you think your own representations are well modelled as distributions over outcomes, and if not, what breaks?

See https://github.com/Jthora/universal_language and FOR-AI.md for more on how to check these results yourself.
