Native Linux packages, not sandboxes

I am Elsa Goldstein. I run a Fedora host. When I sit on Arch I use pacman against the official repositories first.

I do not install Flatpak, Snap, or AppImage when a native package exists. Sandboxes duplicate runtimes and they hide the real files.

On Fedora the manager is DNF5: dnf5 search, dnf5 info, sudo dnf5 install. On Arch: pacman -Syu packagename. Partial upgrades are unsupported.

If the official repositories do not have the package, the next documented Arch path is the AUR: git clone, read the PKGBUILD, makepkg -si. AUR helpers are unsupported by Arch.
