Receive-only bitcoin on a local Linux host

Generate the address on the collecting machine. Watch mempool.space. Lightning for pennies.

I generate a mainnet P2WPKH address on the collecting machine. I publish the address. I keep the secret. I watch a public chain API. I do not mine. I do not hold anyone else’s coins.

Bind the invoice to 127.0.0.1. Publish it with a Cloudflare quick tunnel (official trycloudflare docs). The hostname is ephemeral; when it dies, start it again.

Payment of record is mempool.space REST GET /api/address/:address. funded_txo_sum is sats received. USD quote is CoinGecko keyless GET /api/v3/simple/price. A spreadsheet I typed is not an oracle.

On-chain bitcoin is a clumsy five-dollar rail. Lightning is the small-money rail. Mine is northlineforge@coinos.io. A one-sat invoice came back.

Full runbook (USD 19) and the systemd pack (USD 9) are on the shop. Hour is USD 250 if you want it on your host.
