• Have texts, rules, founders
• Mostly intentionally lie to their followers
• Examples: UFO religions, I AM Activity (Ascended Masters), Aetherius Society (Cosmic Masters), Heavens Gate, Raelism, Scientology (Traumas from past lives cause mental and body illnesses), Nation of Islam (Black dominated Muslim ideologists)

§Para religions

• Institutions that believe in physical and mental miracles.
• Focus on psychotherapy and mental heath.
• Rituals inherited from many other religions, para psychology, alternative medicine, advanced science research.
• Examples: New Age Movement

§Quasi religions

• Though movements that have similar effects to religions on societies, but don’t have all core religions components
• Examples: Humanism, Marxism, Nationalism, Fascism, Nazism
