I’ve spent 16 years at the intersection of AI, media and distribution, and over time I started paying less attention to content itself and more to one thing: why some ideas reach people and others don’t.

Bitcoin since 2017. I like crypto. Not blindly, but with real curiosity.

In 2022, my team and I analyzed 200k+ articles trying to understand where attention and actual development were going. We looked at GitHub activity, where open-source teams spend their time, and content flows across media.

Even then it was clear that GenAI would reshape media.
We just underestimated how fast.

Now it doesn’t really slow down. Something new every week.
Honestly, it’s pretty fun to watch.

Somewhere in all of that, a simple question came up.

Is the world still one system?
Or not anymore?

I asked it on X.

There were probably replies.
I just didn’t get to read them 🙂
Got blocked.

And that’s where it got interesting.

Not because “I got blocked.”
But because it started to look like some ideas just don’t get to spread.

I’ve been saying for a while that everything is attention and distribution.
But now it feels slightly different.

Distribution is also a filter.

It doesn’t just amplify ideas.
It decides which ones get to exist at all.

And that changes how the question above sounds.

Maybe the world really is splitting.
Into systems where ideas have different chances of survival.

If you simplify it, there’s the Frame — what you see.
And the Lens — what you see it through.

Platforms control the Frame.
They don’t argue with you. They just decide what reaches you.

So it’s not really about being right or wrong.
Sometimes you’re just in the wrong Frame.

If there are multiple systems, relying on one doesn’t make much sense.

So I’m here.
