Offline Music 0.3.0: keep the queue when the connection drops

Offline Music 0.3.0 is available on Zapstore, using the same production signing certificate as 0.2.0.

Downloads retain their queue and partial audio after interrupted requests. Failed tracks retry with persistent cooldowns while other queued tracks can continue. After repeated failures, a dedicated notification opens Downloads so you can inspect the problem. Progress resets the failure count, and completing or removing the track clears the alert. Android can defer background recovery; alerts require notification permission, and a force-stopped app resumes jobs when opened again.

This update corrects duplicate silence-skipping processing and applies the intended conservative music settings. A Pixel 6a running GrapheneOS retained four downloads through an in-place upgrade. Downloaded playback, lyric search, source-category search and cached news worked with Internet permission denied. A deliberately broken proxy test confirmed that the queued song completed automatically after the connection was restored. Actual VPN exit changes and Doze still need device testing.

Developer news now shows Offline Music Nostr articles and short notes. Opening news or pressing refresh connects to relays, checks event signatures and stores complete posts locally. The cached list and Markdown articles remain readable offline; article rendering does not fetch remote images. Catalog and stream HTTP requests are rejected before DNS when disconnected or Internet permission is denied.

Missing lyrics can retry after reconnecting, and search focuses its input after the screen is ready. Lyrics and advanced metadata remain independently optional in Playback settings. Available source keywords can be searched locally; the source does not supply a dependable genre taxonomy. Log and crash exports redact credentials and signed URL queries.
