The Quran
The Quran
Remembrance is another name of the Quran. It is sent to make the people remember their creation and their end.
55 Ar-Rahmaan verses 1,2:
The Most beneficent (Allah)
Taught the Qur’an,
Created man,
[And] taught him eloquence (or explaination and interpretation).
59 Al-Hashr verses 21, 22:
If We had sent down this Qur’an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and coming apart from fear of Allah. And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought.
He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Entirely Beneficent, the Especially Merciful.
In heavens the Quran is written too, noble and protected by Angels.
- Al-Waaqia from 77 to 81:
Indeed, it is a noble Qur’an
In a Register well-protected;
None touch it except the purified.
[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent
The Quran is healing for the souls and guiding us to paradise.
Indeed, this Qur’an guides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward.
17:82 Al-Israa
And We send down of the Qur’an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.
The Quran was delivered in Arabic to the prophet Mohamed peace be upon him through the Angel Gabriel. The Quran itself is a linguistic miracle as it came to challenge the fluent Arabic poets that could compose poetry instantly but could come with anything similar to the Quran.
And if We had made it a non-Arabic Qur’an, they would have said, “Why are its verses not explained in detail [in our language]? Is it a foreign [recitation] and an Arab [messenger]?” Say, “It is, for those who believe, a guidance and cure.” And those who do not believe - in their ears is deafness, and it is upon them blindness. Those are being called from a distant place.
17:88 Al-Israa
Say, “If mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other assistants.”
17:89 Al-Israa
And We have certainly diversified for the people in this Qur’an from every [kind] of example, but most of the people refused [anything] except disbelief (that will be punished).
The examples and stories mentioned in the Quran are to teach wisdom and to guide people to the righteous path in life.
And We have certainly presented for the people in this Qur’an from every [kind of] example - that they might remember.
39:28 Az-Zumar
[It is] an Arabic Qur’an, without any deviance that they might become righteous.
In the Quran there are information about God (Allah), his messengers, his books, his creations about other creatures in this world and everything around. Also, it has the commands of Allah that must be followed to avoid hellfire and be guided to paradise.
And [mention] the Day when We will resurrect among every nation a witness over them from themselves. And We will bring you, [O Mohamed], as a witness over your nation. And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things and as guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims.
Disbelievers are afraid to let everyone read or know the content of the Quran that the Quran was fought more than any other book over the past years. Because if only the people would know the truth, they would believe in the Quran and Allah.
- Fussilat from 26 to 28:
And those who disbelieve say, “Do not listen to this Qur’an and speak noisily during [the recitation of] it that perhaps you will overcome.”
But We will surely cause those who disbelieve to taste a severe punishment, and We will surely recompense them for the worst of what they had been doing.
That is the recompense of the enemies of Allah - the Fire. For them therein is the home of eternity as recompense for what they, of Our verses, were rejecting.
54:32 Al-Qamar
And We have certainly made the Qur’an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?
The Quran is the words of Allah. Wouldn’t you want to know what our God, Allah, that created you said?
Say, “If the sea were ink for [writing] the words of my Lord (Allah), the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of it as a supplement.”
50:45 Qaaf
We (refers to Allah) are most knowing of what they say, and you are not over them a tyrant. But remind by the Qur’an whoever fears My threat (of punishment in hell).
We hear about some people are ripping out the copies of the Quran without understanding it’s value and the consequences of their actions as they will the punishment of Allah. I invite all people to stay clam while hearing such stories and leave the authorities to take action in regards these acts of aggression and vandalism even if it is in the eyes of people only a copy of a book.
It must be kept in mind that sometimes these provocations can be paid by third parties to cause conflict while the country where it takes place has nothing to do with it.
We can pray Allah for justice in regards in concern of the involved people only as the prophet Mohamed peace be upon him did in the following Hadith.
Narrated Ibn Abbas: “Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) sent his letter to Khosrau (King of Persia) with Abdullah bin Hudhafa As-Sahmi and commanded him to hand it over to the Governor of Bahrain, who in turn handed it over to Khosrau. When Khosrau read it, he tore it into pieces. Thereupon, Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) supplicated (to Allah) against them, saying, ’May Allah tear them apart completely’ (destroy their kingdom completely) so that He might scatter them and bring an end to their dominion. God answered the supplication of His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); only a few years passed before Persian rule vanished completely from the face of the earth—dissolving in the wake of the Prophet’s supplication—and they were utterly extinguished during the caliphate of Umar (may God be pleased with him). (Sahih al-Bukhari)
The Hadith illustrates the practice of inviting people to Islam through both speech and writing, demonstrating that the written word serves the same function as the spoken word. And also serves as a sign attesting to the truthfulness of the prophethood of Mohamed (peace and blessings be upon him).
