From Land Feudalism to Intelligence Feudalism

Craftsmanship was replaced by factories.

Scribes were replaced by the printing press.

Landlords were replaced by industrialists.

Land and human labor were replaced by industry and machinery.

Human capital was replaced by software and automation.

But when scarcity turns into abundance, and when intelligence becomes cheaper than humans, human value turns negative.

This idea is known as the Intelligence Inversion (Imad Mostaque).

Human intelligence is no longer upgraded. It is [replaced] by artificial intelligence.

Under the new systems of Universal Basic Income (UBI)

or Universal Public Services (UPS):

Everyone is assigned AI: a dietician for health an accountant to allocate budgets a fund manager to manage capital a tutor to optimize learning

At the same time, society separates.

Those who cannot adapt the defiant, displaced, undocumented, refugees, criminals are absorbed into managed systems (enslavement camps), governed, regulated, and contained by the steward class and chartered population.

A smaller group remains: Great Explorers, system owners, coordinators, and contributors.

They are selected for extra-territorial futures: space, off-world infrastructure, and post-Earth sovereignty.
