Cult Classics Takes Over Hello Lincoln | Public Record
Director John Carpenter has made some of the greatest films of all-time: Horror classics like Halloween** and The Thing, sci-fi action epics like Escape from New York** and Starman, and satirical gems like They Live.
But 1986’s Big Trouble in Little China** is perhaps Carpenter’s most fun film, a hilarious, action-packed martial arts fantasy. And on June 6th, Cult Classics is bringing the film to Hello Lincoln to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
Founded in 2011, Cult Classics is dedicated to delivering cinematic favorites on the big screen to Phoenician film fans. And now, Cult Classics is bringing their roadshow to Hello Lincoln, our downtown Phoenix warehouse, presenting the adventures of Kurt Russell’s truck-driving Jack Burton and his crew as he squares off against an ancient sorcerer Lo Pan.
As with every Cult Classics screening, expect more than just a movie, including photo ops, DJ sets, hot dogs, cosplay, and exclusive merch by Cult Classics programmer Victor Moreno, including a print and shirt.
Come get initiated and cap off your comic-con weekend as Cult Classics and Public Record Online present, Big Trouble in Little China on June 6th—visit cultclassicsaz.com for more details and tickets!
