Gatecreeper vs The World | Public Record

Formed in 2013, Gatecreeper has steadily amassed a body of work that testifies to the band’s uncompromising dedication. And now, they’re taking their Sonoran Death Metal sound out into the world, with a long stretch of dates this spring and summer that find them traversing the US and beyond.

Last year, our WASTOIDS production team started working with Gatecreeper, resulting in two projects: the video for “Mistaken For Dead,” which was filmed at our historic Phoenix warehouse, and “Live in the Cactus Garden,” a live concert special directed by filmmaker Sanford Worth.

Led by Chase Mason, the band’s latest full-length is 2024’s Dark Superstition, crated in collaboration with producer Kurt Ballou of Converge. Vinyl editions of the record—alongside a lime green cassette edition—are now available through Gatecreeper’s Hello Merch shop. And that’s not all: they’ve got a wealth of apparel up too.
