La Rosa: A Musical Sanctuary | Public Record
The Tucson venue is a community anchor.
In another era, Tucson venue La Rosa was a Benedictine sanctuary. Built in the Southwestern border town back in 1939, the venue is now home to a different kind of creative expression: live music. La Rosa has immediately taken hold as an anchor of community and creativity in Tucson.
Upcoming gigs include a performance by ska punks Less Than Jake on Thursday, April 16; oldies-inspired soul rock group The Altons on May 30th, and psychedelic prog punks The Mars Volta on Wednesday, September 9th. La Rosa merch is available from our sponsor Hello Merch.
