It’s been a year since our last visit, and their unwavering commitment to Bitcoin education is fostering self-determination and hope like never before.

As we documented in our book Bitcoin Circular Economies, the initial spark from Mike Peterson in El Zonte ignited Ekasi to become ‘The Lighthouse of a Continent’—a beacon inspiring projects across Africa.

Connecting with Ronnie from Bitcoin Kibera was another highlight, showing how this network of circular economies is expanding and amplifying impact continent-wide. So much to learn, so much to build! 🚀
