COURT ASSESSED THAT IT WOULD NOT BE DIFFICULT FOR ĐUKANOVIĆ TO ORGANIZE HIS LIFE OUTSIDE MONTENEGRO Details from the trial: He was outside Montenegro for 103 consecutive days

The brother of former Prime Minister and President of Montenegro Milo Đukanović, businessman Aco Đukanović, told the court that he possesses millions in capital, which, according to the Basic Court in Nikšić, allows him to organize his life outside Montenegro without problems, which is why the panel rejected the appeal of his defense attorneys and confirmed his detention. The court believes that such financial power increases the risk that Đukanović, if released, would become unavailable to domestic judicial bodies.
