Germany has attributed the attempted drone attack on Leipzig/Halle Airport on August 4th to Russia. An investigation concluded that Russia was responsible, citing seized drone parts and explosives similar to those used in previous Russian hybrid operations. While the planning was professional, “low-level agents” acting for Russian state authorities are believed to be responsible.
