EU Steps Up Trade Defenses as Chinese Vehicle, Battery Imports Surge

The European Union is strengthening its trade defenses as imports from China, particularly vehicles, batteries, and machinery, have significantly increased. Official data from Eurostat shows a substantial rise in EU imports from China in June compared to the previous year, widening the monthly goods deficit.
