US Forces Have Diverted 53 Ships Since Resuming Iran Blockade, CENTCOM Says

U.S. forces have redirected 53 vessels since reimposing a blockade on maritime trade with Iran last month. The blockade was restarted on July 14 after a peace framework collapsed. In addition to diverting ships, U.S. forces have boarded two vessels and fired on two others, while allowing over 30 ships through for humanitarian aid.
