Callous and Cruel: Suburban Slave Owner Jailed for Exploiting Vulnerable Woman

A 47-year-old man, Chee Kit “Max” Chong, has been sentenced to six years in prison for exploiting a vulnerable 61-year-old woman and holding her as a slave for nine months in 2022. The woman had moved to Australia from Malaysia with Chong, whom she considered like a son, but he took advantage of her kindness.
