The United States and South Korea are set to conduct major military drills, Ulchi Freedom Shield, from August 17 to August 27. These exercises will focus on countering drone attacks, GPS disruption, and cyberattacks, incorporating lessons from recent warfare trends. Approximately 18,000 South Korean military personnel will participate, alongside 16 other U.N. Command member states, to strengthen combined defense capabilities.
