Two Israeli reservists, Maj. (Res.) Harel Birnshtok and Chief Master Sgt. (Res.) Tamir Vaknin, were killed and four others seriously wounded during operations in southern Lebanon. Lebanese health officials reported that Israeli retaliatory strikes on the town of Tibnin killed one person and wounded 12 others.
