BC Fugitive Arrested in Mexico in International Drug Trafficking Case Denis Ivziku, a Canadian citizen from B.C., was arrested in Cancun, Mexico, by Mexican police on May 14. He had been on the run for four years and is wanted in Manitoba for charges including conspiracy to traffic a controlled substance and conspiracy to possess proceeds obtained by crime. Ivziku is currently undergoing extradition proceedings in Mexico to be sent back to Canada.
