Sydney's Affluent East Set for 9,400 New Dwellings

The New South Wales government has unveiled plans for towers up to 34 storeys high in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. This proposal aims to create approximately 9,400 new homes around Edgecliff and a new Woollahra railway station. The draft plan, now on public exhibition, would allow buildings of up to 32 storeys near the planned Woollahra station and around the existing Edgecliff station.
