From Paris and London to Jerusalem and Tokyo, America’s Allies Mark 25 Years Since 9/11
In London, Ottawa, Melbourne, Jerusalem, and beyond, allies honored the nearly 3,000 people who died in the terrorist attacks.
Firefighters gathered in Paris to sing “La Marseillaise” and honor the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Wreaths were laid at the “tree of liberty,” planted in memory of the victims, and students recited poems. The annual ceremony was attended by local officials and representatives from the U.S. Embassy.
