Alberta Has Added the Most Jobs in Canada This Year, but Not in Industries You Might Think

Alberta has experienced the strongest employment growth in Canada, adding approximately 79,000 jobs in June year-over-year, a three percent increase. Most of these gains, particularly the 58,500 full-time positions, originated from sectors outside of the traditional energy industry. While Ontario also saw growth, its percentage increase was significantly lower than Alberta’s.
