B.C. Conservative MLA Reann Gasper announced she will resign, allowing party leader Kerry-Lynne Findlay to seek the Abbotsford-Mission seat in an upcoming byelection. Gasper stated the decision was made to support the larger goal of defeating the NDP. She affirmed she will remain involved with the party and continue working with Findlay and the Conservative caucus.
