Carney Calls Byelections for Six Ridings Across Three Provinces
Prime Minister Mark Carney has called federal byelections for Dec. 7 in six ridings across Quebec, Ontario, and Saskatchewan to fill vacancies in the House of Commons. Byelections will be held in the Quebec ridings of Laurier—Sainte-Marie, Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie, and Saint-Hyacinthe—Bagot—Acton, Ontario ridings of Brantford—Brant South and Scarborough North, and the Saskatchewan riding of Yorkton—Melville, the Prime Minister’s Office said on Nov. 1.
