A Message to Gen Z from Gen X

Some tips from GenX who have seen this play out before.
A Message to Gen Z from Gen X

History isn’t the same, but it sure does rhyme. Currently, we have multiple wars going on, which is on the back of a fake pandemic where they printed so much Fiat Money to bribe people to stay home and order take away and pretend it was very dangerous outside.

The effects of this money printing are now being widely felt, even if their own fake metrics show little to no inflation.

Our wages are buying much less than they ever had and to cap it all off, the governments through wars and economic sabotage of other countries want cheap labour from abroad to compete with Gen Z in the workforce, making pressure on wages even higher.

What should Gen Z do in face of this mass onslaught?

We’ve been here before as GenXers.. You will remember Saddam had weapons of mass destruction so they had not one, but 2 Gulf wars. Turns out they were lying and killed millions of innocent people 🤯.

Just as GenXers entered the workforce, The Boomers destroyed the money and bought up all the houses for a pack of strawberries. Buying a house or even getting a deposit was super hard to do - as the Boomers were building their buy to let portfolios. They told us to get massively in debt or become rent slaves to them.

Add on to that they decided to “privatise” all publicly held companies because providing government run companies were inefficient and communist, despite the people having cheap transport, electric and free water services for example compared to today.

They also decided to “deregulate” the jobs market, being paid time and a half on Saturday and double time Sunday was “government interference” and must be stopped.

On top of that, GenXer’s must then compete with the borders being opened and the country being flooded with cheap labour competing for jobs, housing, schools and other amenities. Playbook sound familiar?

Labour in the west was too expensive too, therefore, GenXers must concentrate on “high value” tasks and everything else must be outsourced to countries with slave labour and no regulations to ensure maximum profit for Boomer stock portfolios. GenXers had to train the slave labour how to do their jobs and then got fired themselves, as it was obviously just a lie.

Anyone who didn’t follow this, needed to pick themselves up by the boot straps and avoid avocado 🥑 on toast and their Starbucks coffee in the morning before work. God forbid you had any pleasure before entering the fiat mine.

We could no longer start a family or support our wives. So they also had to work, as Elizabeth Warren famously wrote in her book. The Two Income Family Trap.

With the onslaught of Boss Babes, kids have been brought up fully indoctrinated by the State. So probably not many Gen Zers have a clue but some things I would do as a Gen Zer today with this knowledge:

Don’t go to University - it’s a Boomer debt scam designed to enslave you. If you want to party and meet new people, pick up a backpack and hit the road.

Learn real skills from those who know - most corporate workers these days can’t change a lightbulb. Learn real life skills and trades, especially if you like using your hands. If you are more computers, AI makes learning the new tech easier than ever.

Don’t be the Boomer exit liquidity. The housing Ponzi scheme is ridiculous. The last of the Boomers are retiring and they need to sell their houses and stocks to gullible people who will help them live their retirements. Until ZIRP comes back, buying in many areas makes nonsense.

We didn’t have Bitcoin, stack sats, learn your craft and stay humble. We had no life raft to help us save, you do, take advantage.

Finally, don’t go and fight the banker Forever Wars. The world is out there and there are many things you can build instead.

What one piece of advice would you give to Gen Zers?
