Since we shipped Primal 3.0 two weeks ago, nearly 14,000 users have migrated to the new Spark-based wallet. The migration process has worked well, and we feel that we are now ready to set the official sunset date for the old wallet: the custodial wallet service will be discontinued on April 30, 2026.

Nostr is bigger than people think.

We estimate 20k+ active humans on Primal. What does that mean for Nostr? Maybe 50k, maybe more?

People who count active users based on posting activity within a given web of trust are underestimating the number of real humans on Nostr by an order of magnitude. Remember: most people donā€™t post, and many humans donā€™t have enough followers to be included in the WoT.
