The Omega Theory: A Search for Geometry in Information
Omega Theory What if spacetime isn't fundamental? Omega Theory proposes that distance, gravity, time, and quantum phenomena all emerge from a single thing: the informational correlations between discrete quantum subsystems. One scalar field — Φ, the Chain Overlap Density — quantifies how much two regions of reality "overlap" informationally. Distance becomes logarithmic correlation deficit. Gravity becomes the network's tension smoothing out informational gradients. Time becomes the latency of resolving conditional entropy. This isn't a finished theory — it's an open research program, and it's honest about that. The work lives in three generations: ToE-5.0 set the maximal vision (black-hole-driven cosmology, a life principle from information theory, testable predictions); OmegaAlpha rebuilt the foundations philosophically (relational quantum mechanics, thermodynamic observers); and the current repo does something almost no independent theory project does — it formalizes its claims in Lean 4, with 900+ machine-checked theorems, zero sorry, zero axioms, CI-verified on every commit. The proofs check mathematical structure, not physical truth — the repo says so explicitly. The physics is exploratory and unvalidated. But the method is the point: every claim is stated precisely enough to be checked by a machine, every assumption is on the table, every contradiction is documented rather than hidden. That's rarer in theoretical physics than it should be. What's there now: a formalized mathematical framework, three generations of documented development, and open problems with crisp statements. What's needed: collaborators, critics, and anyone who wants to see whether informational emergence can actually carry the weight of a theory of everything. → github.com/jakesdev1991/Omega_Theory_Everything
