Megalomania: When Ego Becomes a Monster
This note is a reflection of my attempt to understand certai traits I’ve observed in someone I know. It all started after a few puzzlnig interactions that left me questioning what was really going on beneath the surface. Watching a YouTube video on Narcissistic Personality Disorder by Salva veritate gave me some initial insight, but I quickly realized that what I was dealing with went beyond just NPD—it seemed to involve something deeper. I wanted to make sense of their thought patterns and behaviors, so I began researching and gathering resources to dig further. At the end of this note, I’ve included the references that helped me along the way, in case others are trying to make sense of similar situations.
