Step back in time with me to some events that profoundly affected the course of my life. It's never wrong or hateful to speak or write truth. And none of us get to have our own truth. We work these things out in the public commons. I am hoping that Nostr is the future commons. We shall see ... as they say.

I Love Your Hate
Most of us now believe that war/perpetual conflict is the natural state of the world. And they would be partially right. We do live in a fallen world. But the universe isn't loveless. It is human. Only humans are capable of perceiving it as anything other than a dog eat dog creation. Dogs eat dogs. Humans CHOOSE not to eat humans. I CHOOSE to love you. Especially if you choose to hate me.

I don't care what you think of me. But I do. I'm human. Like you. But my humanity doesn't belong to me. I'm human because of God. I'm a Christian. I'm human because of Jesus Christ, God's Son. He teaches me every nanosecond how to love my enemies. I suspect I have a few on Nostr ... already.
