The Dawn of Liberland
Liberland, a self-declared microstate between Croatia and Serbia on the Danube River faces significant challenges due to Croatia's ambiguous stance on its sovereignty. Croatian authorities intermittently harass settlers, conduct raids, and impose travel bans, hindering Liberland’s efforts to establish a permanent population and infrastructure. Despite these obstacles, Liberland continues to build its community and seek international recognition, aiming to become a legitimate city-state.
