Hack4Freedom Timeline
Hack4Freedom is a women-only hackathon in Nigeria (Sept 20–Oct 4, 2025) focused on Bitcoin, Lightning, Nostr, and eCash: kickoff day, two virtual build weeks, and an in-person demo day in Kaduna. Teams (1–4) compete for $2,000 in BTC, judged on originality, technical execution, local relevance, and impact. It’s both a skills-and-networking launchpad and a call for mentors, speakers, sponsors, and donors to support a pipeline from local developers to the global open-source community.
