Die Dead Internet Theory beschreibt nicht nur ein Internet voller Bots, sondern den Verlust der Beweiskraft digitaler Oberflächen. Mit KI werden glaubwürdige Texte, Bilder, Videos und ganze Diskurse nahezu kostenlos erzeugbar. Dadurch kollabiert der Zusammenhang zwischen Plausibilität und Wahrheit. Bitcoin setzt genau am entgegengesetzten Punkt an: Statt Vertrauen oder Darstellung basiert es auf Proof of Work, realen Energiekosten und global überprüfbarer Verifikation. Während KI digitale Plausibilität nahezu kostenlos macht, macht Bitcoin digitales Eigentum teuer verifizierbar – und wird damit zum physikalischen Anker einer zunehmend synthetischen digitalen Welt.

Write Once… Render Everywhere?

Nostr promises “write once, publish everywhere.” And at the protocol level, that’s mostly true. But in practice, how your content *renders* depends heavily on the client. Primal favors Markdown images but ignores HTML. Coracle supports HTML but doesn’t fully render Markdown image syntax. The result: the same post can look completely different depending on where it’s viewed. Continuum takes a different approach—supporting both formats and separating authorship from rendering.
